Nous voilà donc à la recherche d'un second Skye Terrier !
Le plus simple était de contacter les personnes chez lesquelles j'avais trouvé ma petite Jade quelques années avant ...
Heureux hasard : nous apprenons qu'ils ont une chienne d'environ 6 ans, prénommée Mousse et qui attend avec impatience de retrouver des maîtres !
Mousse ne tarda pas à arriver à la maison ...
Les premiers temps furent difficiles : elle ne supportait pas trop Jade qui se réfugiait régulièrement sur la table de la salle à manger pour pouvoir faire sa sieste tranquillement ...!!! Elle voulait imposer sa loi et les prises de becs ne furent pas rares !
Enfin, chacune trouva sa place à la maison et l'entente devint cordiale même si quelques chamailleries arrivent encore aujourd'hui !
Une chose m'avait toujours frappée : cette seconde chienne s'appelait Mousse et la mère de Jade s'appelait Frimousse ... étrange !
Aucun tatouage n'était visible sur notre Mousse, nous n'avions aucun papier ...
Un vétérinaire finit par trouver un numéro d'identification et m'informa qu'il allait se renseigner à la Société Centrale Canine.
Nous étions impatients de connaître l'âge réel de Mousse, sa date de naissance, ... peut-être avait-elle comme Jade, un pédigree .... ???
La réponse ne se fit pas attendre ! Le lendemain on nous annonça que nous étions les heureux propriétaires d'une chienne inscrite au LOF et dont le nom était Frimousse des Granges des Ressents !
J'avais raison !!!! Nous avions adopté la propre mère de ma chienne !
Nous avions donc, sans le savoir, réuni, sous le même toit depuis 3 années la mère et la fille ... ce qui expliquait peut-être les quelques coups de gueules auxquels nous avions droit !

Mousse nous a quittés le 29 aout 2004, repose en paix ma fille ...

The simpliest would have been to get in touch with those people we had taken our little Jade , few years ago…

Wonderful struck of luck, we just knew in the same time that they had just welcome a bitch named Mousse, expecting to find new owners for her!

Not so long to wait , she was taken to home soon !

First time was hard, she wasn’t very fair with Jade , who was taking place under the dining table as best refuge , where she could have some rest and quietness!

Mousse just wanted to dictate her one’s , so they both had a lot of rows very early !

Finally, each of them found their respective space at home and the atmosphere became quite cordial, although some squabbles may still happen, till now!

Something strange stroke me with amazement:  this second bitch arrived at home was already named Mousse…. And this is exactly the first name of Jade’ s Mother!

Not any tattoo did exist on any part of body of Mousse, also did we get her without any document relating her genealogy.

A Vet I knew found at least a related Identify number and kept me informed he will take more information with Society Centrale Canine ;

We were so in hurry, de know more about this new dog, like the true age, the date of birth… may be to find that she got a pedigree as Jade got one.

Answer wasn’t too long to wait ! The day-after, we knew to be lucky owners of a registered dog at the LOF ( French Official Register) named Frimousse des Granges de Ressents !

I was absolutely right when previously I thought that would be possible we were about to adopt the true mother of my own bitch !!!!

Without any calculation , without any idea about it , without knowing when we brought this second dog at home, … we had just brought together the mother and daughter from same family, again  in the same house, since 3 years already when we got this information..;

This genetical proximity might explain some conflicts they shew to us …

Dearest Mousse left us in 2004, august 29.
